Precision measurement of the branching ration of K± → µ± π0ν — •Andrew Maier, Martin Holder, and Michal Ziolkowski — Unversitaet Siegen
A precision measurement of the branching ratio of K± → µ± π0ν (Kmu3) is performed using data taken at the NA48 experiment at CERN in 2002. The result of this branching ration can be used to extract the |VUS| element of the CKM matrix. This value is of current interrest due to the present 2.2σ discrepancy from unitarity.
