Study of slepton properties at a γ γ collider — •Huber Nieto-Chaupis, Klaus Mönig, Hanna Nowak, and Achim Stahl — DESY-Zeuthen
The measurement of properties of supersymmetric (SUSY) particles at a photon collider at TESLA is studied.
The work is based on Monte Carlo simulation employing the programs SHERPA, PYTHIA and WHIZARD as generators of SUSY and Standard Model processes; SIMDET is used to simulate the TESLA detector.
We focus on the production of scalar muons (left and right) where the final state consists of charged leptons and missing energy as a consequence of unseen neutrinos and neutralinos.
The advantages and disadvantages that a photon collider can offer with respect to the e+ e− mode are discussed. The results are based on the measurement of the cross sections, branching ratios and masses.
The status and direction of our SUSY studies at the gamma-gamma collider is presented.
