Observations of SNRs with H.E.S.S. — •Conor Masterson and German Hermann — Max-Planck Institut für Kernphysik, Heidelberg
The H.E.S.S. experiment, situated in the southern hemisphere in Namibia at a latitude of -20o, is ideally placed to search for emission in the GeV/TeV energy range from galactic sources of non-thermal radiation. A number of known or potential sources of this type in the southern sky have been observed in 2002 and 2003, including plerionic and Shell-type Supernova remnants. The results of these observations will be presented.
