DOAS-Tomography combines DOAS measurements yielding average concentrations along long light paths and tomographic methods to retrieve the spatial concentration distribution. To validate its techniques an indoor experiment was performed in August 2003 under well defined conditions. Cylinders filled with NO2 were used to assess the possibility to reconstruct local 2D-distributions using up to about 40 light paths. Here we present first reconstruction results and compare them to simulations using different measures to quantify the quality of the reconstruction. Sensitivity to measurement errors and to the number of light paths are discussed.
