The SCIAMACHY instrument based on the ENVISAT satellite has been operational since Juli 2002. O3 profiles from limb measurements are among its products.

O3 profiles retrieved by SCIAMACHY are compared to profiles retrieved from ground based microwave measurements. Direct matches as well as trajectory hunting methods are used in order to increase the number of possible comparisons. A thorough analysis of the comparison is presented.
