Charge Transfer Kinetics of Individual Photosystem I Reaction Centers — •Alexandra Elli, Fedor Jelezko, and Joerg Wrachtrup — 3. Physikalisches Institut, Universitaet Stuttgart, Pfaffenwaldring 57, D-70550 Stuttgart
The charge separation in single reaction center Photosystem I has been investigated. The fluorescence of the red-most group of antenna chlorophylls has been used as a sensor of the redox state of reaction center. Cyclic electron recombination from iron-sulfur cluster Fx and reaction center P700 has been observed. Recombination kinetics has been analyzed using fluorescence autocorrelation approach.
