Correlated two-particles are considered which interact with themselves and with a finite cavity. Choosing a separable two-particle potential, our method leads to exact solutions for the two-particle problem in the presence of the cavity. As a result the two-particle phase shift is calculated and compared to the single-particle one. A Fano resonance is observed caused by the interference of single- and two-particle channels. In addition, we investigate the two-particle bound state behavior and the influence of the cavity on the binding properties.
