We investigate the relation between the exciton transfer regime and the optical properties of ring molecular systems.
We simulate the influence of the coupled coherent and incoherent exitonic energy transport on the optical line shape of the rings. The influence of the bath is described by (fast) colored dichotomic Markov processes with short time constants for the decay of theircorrelation functions. The colored dichotomic Markov processes leading to transfer integral fluctuations are correlated between nearest neighboring sites.
The exciton transfer and the optical line shape of the molecular ring is investigated in dependence of the parameters of the stochastic processes.
