The Equation of State and other equilibrium properties of dense plasmas are investigated by perturbation theory in the framework of Green’s function technique. The influence of quantum and correlation effects is analyzed. In particular, the contribution of strong correlations in the ionic subsystem is taken into account using an HNC scheme. We compare our results to those of other analytical methods and to data of numerical Path-Integral-Monte-Carlo and Wave-Packet-Molecular-Dynamics simulations.
