Supersymmetry and Precision Observables — •Sven Heinemeyer — CERN
Electroweak precision observables are a powerful tool to derive indirect constraints on Supersymmetry. The effects of SUSY particles on the W boson mass, MW, the effective leptonic mixing angle, sin2θeff, the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon, (g−2)µ, the lightest Higgs boson mass, Mh, and other observables are discussed. The current status and the future expectations for the experimental precision and the theoretical predictions are summarized. It is shown that SUSY can fulfill simultaneously all constraints from precision observables, experimental searches and cosmological observations. The favored regions of the SUSY parameter space are presented.
