The excitation content of spectral functions of the 1D t-J model with nearest neighbor interactions is obtained from the Bethe Ansatz solution at the supersymmetric point and compared with quantum Monte Carlo (QMC) simulations based on the hybrid-loop algorithm [1]. We consider the one-particle spectrum as well as the dynamical spin and charge structure factors. The connection to the 1D supersymmetric t-J model with 1/r2 interaction will be explained and the extension to experimentally relevant values of J/t will be discussed on the basis of QMC results.
