High Energy Astroparticle Physics — •Jim Hinton — Landessternwarte, Heidelberg — Max-Planck-Institut fuer Kernphysik, Heidelberg

Energetic particles from space, whether hadrons, neutrinos, or photons, are messengers from the most extreme places in the universe. These particles allow us to test our knowledge of the fundamental laws of physics at energies unreachable with man-made accelerators. The study of these particles relies on measurements utilising a broad range of observational techniques. Recent experimental developments have led to rapid progress in the field over the past few years. This presentation will give an overview of the results from, and prospects for, the new generation of gamma-ray, neutrino, and cosmic-ray experiments.
