Charged Current polarized e-p Cross-Sections Measured at HERA with the ZEUS Detector — •Juraj Šutiak — Max-Planck-Istitut für Physik, München, Germany
The upgraded HERA accelerator allows for precision measurement of charged current interactions with polarized lepton beams. An analysis of charged current e-p interaction from 150pb−1 of luminosity acquired with the ZEUS detector in 2004-05 is presented. The event selection and background rejection is briefly discussed. The total charged current cross-section for various values of polarization is presented. An upper limit on the cross-section for weak right-handed current extracted from these data is given. The mass of the W− boson, determined from a fit to the Q2 dependence of the differential cross-section, is reported.
