Extracting Δ Γ in the B_s system from angular distributions of the B_s → J/ψ   φ decay with the CMS detector — •Lotte Wilke — Physik Institut der Universität Zürich

The decay B_s → J/ψ   φ → µ⁺ µ⁻ K⁺ K⁻ is a gold-plated transition which allows to measure most parameters of the B_s system.
The time dependence of angular distributions gives a powerful tool to extract the lifetime difference between the light and heavy mass eigenstate of the B_s as well as other parameters in this system. The prospects for the measurement of these parameters using a maximum likelihood fit will be presented.
