We present an enhanced algorithm to compute energy levels and oscillator strenghts of astrophysically relevant atoms and ions in the range Z=2,…,26 at neutron star magnetic field strenghts in different ionization stages. The Hartree-Fock equations are solved using finite element and B-spline techniques. Excited Landau levels are included to calculate electrons close to the nucleus more accurately and to extend the range of the magnetic fields to smaller strengths.
