Quantum Cosmology from Loop Quantum Gravity I — •Thomas Thiemann — Albert Einstein Institute

Loop Quantum Gravity (LQG) is a non-perturbative approach to quantum gravity and therefore has a chance to enhance our understanding of the early universe where background dependent approaches fail. In this talk we outline how LQG might affect the standard cosmological scenario.
