Geant4 simulation of the A4 Compton backscattering polarimeter. — •Jeong Han Lee — Institut für Kernphysik, Universität Mainz, D-55099 Mainz, Germany
The A4 collaboration investigates the structure of the proton by measuring parity-violating asymmetry. Accurate measurement of the electron beam polarization is crucial in extracting physics asymmetry from raw data. A scintillating fiber detector can detect scattered electrons and a photon detector can do scattered photons from Compton scattering. Two detectors and a beam line will be investigated with Geant4, a toolkit for the simulation of the passage of particles through matter. This poster will present a general overview of the simulation.
