Physics at the LHC with the first 10fb-1 — •Dirk Zerwas — LAL Orsay, France

In 2007/2008 the LHC will open a new energy domain for physics within the Standard Model and beyond. After the discussion of initial Standard Model measurements, the search for Higgs boson(s) will be focussed on. Particles in the supersymmetric extension of the Standard Model can be discovered in the TeV mass region. Alternative scenarios, like extended gauge theories, can also be probed at high mass scales in the initial phase of LHC.
