How to get a non-perturbative lower bound on the Higgs mass — •Daniel Nogradi — Universitaet Wuppertal

I will argue that the currently available perturbative lower bounds on the Higgs mass based on 'vacuum instability' are not reliable. Instaed, a non-perturbatiove treatment of the problem is necessary and a strategy will be outlined how to obtain such a bound in lattice gauge theory that is both reliable and relevant for the LHC.
