Search for pulsed VHE gamma-ray emission with H.E.S.S. — •Matthias Füßling and Stefan Schlenker for the H.E.S.S. collaboration — Institut für Physik, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Newtonstr. 15, 12489 Berlin

Many experiments in the very-high-energy (VHE) gamma-ray astronomy have been on the search for the detection of pulsed VHE gamma-ray emission from pulsars. This detection would improve the understanding of magnetospheric high-energy emission from rotating neutron stars. In this talk, we present recent results of a search for pulsed VHE gamma-ray emission using data taken with the High Energy Stereoscopic System (H.E.S.S.), an array of imaging Cherenkov telescopes located in Namibia. The data set comprises observations of various pulsars and was accumulated during three years of operation. The results of the search are presented and compared to model predictions about pulsed VHE-gamma ray production.
