Observation of the HMXB LSI +61 303 in GeV/TeV gamma rays with the MAGIC telescope — •Tobias Jogler1 and Karsten Berger2 for the MAGIC collaboration — 1Max-Planck-Institut fuer Physik, Foehringer Ring 6, 80805 Muenchen, Deutschland — 2Universitaet Wuerzburg, Am Hubland, 97074 Wuerzburg, Deutschland
The high mass x-ray binary LSI +61 303 was observed by the imaging Cherenkov telescope MAGIC in 2005 and 2006. We detected a clear variable signal in GeV/TeV gamma rays from the direction of LSI +61 303. Here we will present the results of our observation and discusss various features of the measured emission of LSI +61 303 in the very high energy regime.
