Dynamical dark energy after three years of data from WMAP — •Georg Robbers, Michael Doran, and Christof Wetterich — Institut für Theoretische Physik der Universität Heidelberg, Philosophenweg 16, 69120 Heidelberg
The first three years of observation of the Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe (WMAP) have provided the most precise data on the anisotropies of the cosmic microwave background to date. We investigate the impact of these results and their combination with data from other astrophysical probes, such as type Ia supernovae and the large scale structure of the Universe, on cosmological models with a dynamical dark energy component. We pay particular attention to models with early dark energy and discuss their implication on observations.
