B_s mixing and new physics — •Ulrich Nierste1 and Alexander Lenz2 — 1Inst. f. Theor. Teilchenphysik (TTP), KIT - Univ. Karlsruhe, 76128 Karlsruhe — 2Fak. f. Physik, Univ. Regensburg, 93040 Regensburg
B_s -B_s-bar mixing is sensitive to physics beyond the Standard Model. I discuss which measurements are sensitive to magnitude and phase of the mixing matrix element and how new physics can be detetcted or constrained. New, more precise theory predictions for the width difference in the B_s system and for the CP asymmetry in flavour specific B_s decays are presented. We also give brief updates for the B_d system.
