Higgs Boson Search Beyond the Standard Model with the D-zero Experiment at the Tevatron — •Andre Sopczak — Lancaster University
The Tevatron Run-II collider at Fermilab started proton-antiproton collisions in spring 2001. The D-zero experiment has been collecting data from these collisions and a major research activity is the search for Higgs bosons.
While in the Standard Model only one Higgs boson is expected, several Higgs bosons are predicted in extended models. The latest preliminary results from the search for these Higgs bosons beyond the Standard Model are reported, and a brief outlook on the future sensitivity reach is given.
