Observation of microquasers in VHE gamma-rays with the MAGIC telescope — •Takayuki Saito and Tobias Jogler for the MAGIC collaboration — Max-Planck-Institut für Physik, München, Germany
A microquasar is an accretion powered X-ray binary displaying relativistic radio jets. The systems consist of a compact object, either a neutron star or a black hole, and a companion star that loses mass into an accretion disk. Their non-thermal activity and strong flares make them attractive objects for very high energy (E>100 GeV) gamma-ray astronomy.
Here we would like to present the results of several observed microquasars with the MAGIC telescope.
