Flavor Physics is a powerful tool in the analysis of models beyond the Standard Model. Apart from Supersymmetry, that has been investigated for more than three decades, a couple of viable models have been established only recently, among them the Littlest Higgs Model with T-parity and models with extra dimensions. We present important examples of such models and point out which experimentally testable predictions can be derived from flavor physics. Special attention is paid to large effects in rare decays that are possible even if the model is in full consistence with experimental data otherwise.
