Inclusive Susy searches with jets and discovery reach — •Janet Dietrich, Sascha Caron, and Gregor Herten — Physikalisches Institut, Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg

The ATLAS experiment will search for new physics in the head-on collisions of protons with an energy of 7 TeV. Due to the high luminosity and high energy of the LHC, ATLAS has a large discovery potential for physics beyond the Standard Model like Supersymmetry (SUSY). In this talk a model independent search technique for 4, 3 and 2 jets and missing transverse energy will be presented. Furthermore a cut optimization technique and its results for different SUSY models will be discussed. First results for the background validation will be shown.
