ATLAS Grid Computing activities within the Gridka Cloud — •Simon-Kirichu Nderitu — University of Bonn, Nussallee 12, 53115,Bonn. On behalf of the ATLAS Gridka Cloud.

The WLCG Tier1 at GridKa in Karlsruhe Germany,has a number of Tier2 sites associated with it. Together the Tier2s, located in Germany, Austria, Czech Republic Poland and Switzerland, and the T1 at GridKa form the ATLAS Gridka-cloud.

Like other clouds in WLCG, the main activities within this cloud are running Monte-Carlo production jobs, Distributed Data Management (DDM) issues and operations, tape reading tests with data re-processing in view and monitoring of the transfer efficiencies, through-puts and networking statuses between sites. An overview talk will be presented showing the activity, progresses and current status in each of the named areas and also an evaluational overview of the cloud's readiness for the ATLAS data taking in mid 2008.
