The Atmospheric Neutrino Energy Spectrum — •Rebecca Gozzini for the IceCube collaboration — Institut für Physik, Universität Mainz, Staudingerweg 7, 55099 Mainz DE
The atmospheric neutrino energy spectrum up to 100 TeV is investigated with AMANDA 2000-03 data. The unfolding method by V.Blobel is applied to reconstruct the neutrino energy E from variables correlated with it. The unfolding of simulated data allow us to estimate the detector energy resolution between 0.3 and 0.4 in logE. The measured spectrum is compared to simulations assuming different conventional fluxes and models for charm production.
