Polarization Measurements of the Radio Emission of Cosmic Ray Air Showers with LOPES — •Paula Gina Isar for the LOPES collaboration — Forschungszentrum Karlsruhe, Institut für Kernphysik, D-76021 Karlsruhe
LOPES is a low frequency radio antenna array located at Forschungszentrum Karlsruhe, designed to detect the radio emission of high energy cosmic ray air showers generated in the Earth's atmosphere. The configuration of the initial LOPES experiment, consisting of 30 antennas oriented in the east-west polarization direction, has now a dual polarization set-up which provides the measurement of the full radio signal. The analysis of the polarized events recorded with the current configuration is reported.
