Determination of top+antitop production cross section in the muon+jets channel at ATLAS — •Balint Radics, Detlef Bartsch, Ian Brock, Markus Cristinziani, and Duc Bao Ta — University of Bonn

A precise measurement of the top quark production cross section can put further constraints on the Standard Model of particle physics, and, being a major background, is also useful for searches of physics Beyond the Standard Model. In this talk we will give an outline of the counting method with data driven background estimation. Emphasis is put on the determination of the systematic uncertainties.
