Supersymmetry Search in the 1-lepton Channel with ATLAS — •Marie-Helene Genest — Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität, München
SUSY production at the LHC usually has a multi-jet, large transverse-missing-energy signature. In the decay chain leading to the lightest sparticle, gaugino decays can also produce one or many leptons. Requiring leptons in the analysis helps differentiating the signal from the expected Standard Model background. This talk will report on the search for supersymmetric final states containing jets, missing energy and one lepton with the ATLAS detector. The talk will focus on the first data, assuming a center-of-mass energy of 10 TeV.
