Development of the hybrid photodetector camera for MAGIC-II — •Reiko Orito — Max Planck Institute for Physics, Munich, Germany

The MAGIC-II is an arrays of two 17m diameter imaging atmospheric Cherenkov telescopes operating in La Palma, Canary islands. For upgrade of the MAGIC-II camera, we are developing the new camera consisting of the hybrid photodetector(HPD) Hamamatsu R9792U-40 with GaAsP photocathode. The prototype HPD cluster with seven HPDs has been developed and now under the test. In this talk, the development and performance of the prototype HPD cluster will be reported.
