Analysis frame-work for cosmic-ray events measured with a radio set-up at the Pierre Auger Observatory — •Julian Rautenberg and Pietro Oliva — Bergische Universität Wuppertal, Gaußstr. 20, 42117 Wuppertal *
The Pierre Auger Collaboration started an R&D task force to investigate the extension of the Observatory with a self-triggering antenna array for the detection of extensive air showers by their radio signals. First signals measured with test set-ups ask for establishing an environment for the analysis of data and simulations. Extending the general Offline frame-work developed within Auger also for radio-detection offers many short-term as well as long-term benefits. The radio-events can be reconstructed using well tested code. The simultaneous reconstruction of events measured with the Auger Surface- and Fluorescence-Detectors simplifies comparison of the specific shower characteristics. Events recorded with a test set-up at the Auger site in Argentina have been analyzed using the extended Auger frame-work and will be presented.
