The Lorentz transformation and the special theory of relativity (STR) are built upon the explanation of the results on Michelson's experiment. Even today there are dilemmas on this experiment. A very simple explanation for this experiment will be given in this paper. Be doing so we will try to prove that the explanations that lasted up to present are wrong, because the expectation (the idea of Michelson) was wrong. According to this even STR is incorrect.
