Structure of Ba with N ∼90 and Ra with N∼132 from high precision mass measurements of 136−146Xe and 223−229Rn — •R. Recent 136−146Xe and 223−229Rn atomic mass results from the double Penning trap mass spectrometer ISOLTRAP at ISOLDE-CERN will be presented [1-2]. These new results include the first measurements on 144−146Xe and 223−229Rn (including the first identification of 229Rn). Proton-neutron interaction strengths, δVpn, extracted from these new atomic mass results, double differences of binding energies, will be shown for both the N∼90 and N∼132 regions, in particular for Ba and Ra. Structural effects will be discussed considering the δVpn results. A unique pattern was identified in both regions. In addition, microscopic density functional theory predictions for δVpn will be compared with the experimental results.
