Kaon and antikaon flow in Ni + Ni collisions at 1.91A GeV with FOPI detector — •Tae Im Kang — GSI, Darmstadt, Germany — Korea University, Seoul, Korea
Kaons, which are produced in nucleus-nucleus collisions at sub-threshold energies at SIS/GSI, are the most promising particles to investigate in-medium effects on hadrons. Theory suggests that through the interaction between kaons and the surrouding nucleons the kaon properties are modified in matter. Charged kaon flow can provide information on the in-medium potential. From the sign of directed flow, one can deduce depth of KN and KN potential with the help of microscopic transport model.
The FOPI collaboration has measured strangeness production for various systems and energies. We will present results on kaon and antikaon flow in Ni + Ni collisions at 1.91A GeV and comparison to theoretical model in a dense nuclear medium.
