Preliminary results of the first double polarised experiment at ANKE-COSY — •David Chiladze — High Energy Physics Institute, Tbilisi State University, 0186 Tbilisi, Georgia. — Institut für Kernphysik, Forschungszentrum Jülich, 52425 Jülich, Germany.
The understanding of the NN interaction is fundamental to the whole of nuclear and hadronic physics. The scattering amplitudes for the complete description of NN interactions can be reconstructed from a phase-shift analysis (PSA), which requires measurments with polarised beam and polarised target. Using transversely polarised deuterons incident on a polarised internal hydrogen gas target and measuring the spin correlation coefficients for the d→p→ → {pp}n reaction at low excitation energies Epp of the final pp system opens the possibility to obtain the relative phases between the np amplitudes. Measurements were carried out for two different energies (1.2 and 2.27 GeV) of the polarised deuteron beam, where no experimental data is available. This contribution will present a preliminary results from the first double polarised experiment.
