ANKA is a synchrotron radiation facility at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
In order to automate long term measurements and ease often repeated tasks, a set of software tools has been created for the ANKA storage ring. These tools connect the accelerator control system with various diagnostic tools (e.g. a tune measurement system). Using these tools, operators can perform tasks like chromaticity or dispersion measurements without manual intervention.
This talk gives an insight into the measurement and analysis tools that have been developed and presents the results of some of the measurements accomplished at ANKA.
