Current experimental data indicate that heavy nuclei may contribute to the flux of ultra-high energy cosmic rays. To understand the effects of the propagation of UHE-nuclei on the observed spectrum and mass composition, the publicly available code CRPropa has been extended to allow for propagation of nuclei. It takes into account photo-disintegration, pion production, energy losses by pair production in ambient photon fields, as well as nuclear decays. Furthermore, CRPropa allows to study the influence of deflections in extragalactic magnetic fields on anisotropies in the arrival directions. In this talk we will present the nuclei extensions of CRPropa and discuss first simulation results.
