Supersymmetric tau final states with the ATLAS detector at the LHC — Klaus Desch, Christian Limbach, Till Nattermann, Peter Wienemann, and •Carolin Zendler — Uni Bonn
Tau lepton final states are favoured in many models of supersymmetry, and provide unique information about the underlying model. Therefore, events with at least two tau leptons are studied, concentrating on R-parity conserving scenarios with an mSUGRA-like mass hierarchy, and collisions with 10 TeV centre-of-mass energy. Such events are challenging due to the decay of the taus, and require a good understanding of the detector performance.
