Enhancements to the ATLAS Pixel DAQ for usage in testbeams with the EUDET-Telescope — Claus Gößling, Markus Mathes, Daniel Muenstermann, and •Georg Troska — TU Dortmund, Experimentelle Physik IV, D-44221 Dortmund
The ATLAS Pixel detector is the innermost subdetector of the ATLAS-Experiment at CERN. The development of new sensor technologies is going on as detector-upgrades are foreseen to cope with higher fluences and more pile-up-events after accelerator upgrades (SLHC).
For testing properties of sensors, testbeams are used. Beam-telescopes such as the EUDET-Telescope are needed for measuring the exact position of beam-tracks. To be able to use the EUDET-Telescope for ATLAS Pixel purposes, extensions to TurboDAQ-System have been neccessary. These were implemented and will be shown.
First testbeams with this setup have been accomplished. The experience in using the common EUDET-Framework, the attached DAQ-System and the analysis framework will be presented.
