RWTH Aachen, one of the largest Tier-2/3 sites in Germany, currently provides over 2000 modern cores and a disk storage capacity of more than 500 TBytes.To operate this considerable storage resource dCache as a high efficient and easily scalable system is used. Embedded in the dCache support project of the HGF alliance "Physics at the Terascale", often Aachen is one of the first sites to install, test and debug new innovative dCache solutions. This presentation will give an overview about practical experiences gained using new features of dCache and will discuss future plans.
