MAGIC is a system of two 17 m Cherenkov telescopes located in La Palma (Canary islands). The construction of the second telescope has finished recently, turning MAGIC into a stereoscopic system with improved sensitivity especially at the lower energies. Monte Carlo simulations have been tuned and improved to realistically simulate both telescopes by including the changes introduced in the new telescope like the new mirror reflectivity, quantum efficiency, trigger area or readout. Here the systematic comparison of data taken in stereoscopic mode with the new Monte Carlo simulations using both gamma and muon events is presented.
