IceCube Event Selection with the Random Forest — •Tim Ruhe — TU Dortmund
The Random Forest is a multivariate classification tool that can be used to separate signal and background events. We trained and applied a Random Forest for IceCube Monte Carlo simulations. The results of the application will be presented.
