We present a study of electron spin dynamics in novel Mn-dimer molecular complexes which show strong dependence of the electron density distribution at the Mn sites on the ligand surrounding. Using the pulsed electron spin resonance (ESR) technique we have detected electron spin echo and determined spin-lattice relaxation (T1) and phase-coherence (T2) times which systematically depend on the ligand type. Interestingly, we observe an electron spin echo envelope modulation (ESEEM) associated with the coupling of the Mn electron spins to nearby proton moments. Moreover, we show that the spin-relaxation times can be substantially increased by reducing intermolecular interactions, for instance, by dissolving the crystals in a liquid media.
