We present first results of our experiments on single pass high harmonic generation (HHG) at 20.8MHz repetition rate using an Yb:YAG Innoslab amplifier system. After spectral broadening and subsequent pulse compression our system delivers 40fs pulses with an average power of up to 23W near 1030nm. Tight focusing into a xenon gas jet allows the generation of high harmonic radiation of up to 17th order. The demonstrated system shows a promising alternative to existing tabletop high repetition rate extreme ultraviolet (XUV) sources. Current limitations, possible extensions and potential applications will be discussed.
