We have studied mutual projectile and target ionization processes in 1MeV/amu N4+ and N5+ +He collisions in a kinematically complete experiment. The data has been analyzed with four-particle Dalitz plots, in which multiple differential cross sections are presented as a function of the momenta of all four particles. Theoretical results from various quantum-mechanical models are convoluted with classical elastic scattering (nucleus-nucleus interaction) and the comparisons to experimental results show qualitatively good agreement with eikonal calculations. Better agreement is achieved for N5+ +He collision, while some discrepancies are observed for N4+ +He collision, where the significance of high order effects is underestimated.
