Since 1991, Germany has continuously intensified the export control regulations and since 1995, harmonized EU rules exist. These refer to 'goods', which are defined as merchandize products as well as technology and software. In this presentation we highlight the regulations and show an internationally aknowldeged example of the implementation in a globally acting enterprise. This is an effective tool worth being transferred to academia.
