For future precision experiments on antihydrogen, laser cooling of the magnetically trapped atoms down to milliKelvin range is essential. We present the generation of Lyman-α light on the cooling transition at 121.56 nm wavelength by sum frequency four-wave mixing (FWM) in mercury vapor using solid-state laser systems. The current status of projects for power enhancement and stability improvement is presented. This includes the design of powerful fundamental laser systems like a 30 W Yb:YAG fiber amplifier (1091 nm) and a Yb:Lu2O3 disk laser (1015 nm). Additionally FWM in a three color enhancement cavity and a hollow core fiber is investigated.
